The network has given a sign of confidence to the two freshman dramas on its schedule.

ABC is showing confidence in rookie dramas Last Resort and 666 Park Avenue.

The ABC Network is showing a tremendous amount of faith in its devilish new horror show “666 Park Avenue,” as it has ordered two more scripts for the series despite it tanking like a lead balloon in the ratings.

666 Park Avenue has been a modest ratings performer for ABC in the 10 p.m. Sunday slot, averaging 5.6 million viewers per week for its first three episodes. Terry O’Quinn, Vanessa Williams, Dave Annable and Rachael Taylor star.

Last Resort and 666 Park Avenue are the latest ABC freshman series to receive additional script orders, joining comedy The Neighbors, which received an order for three more scripts this month.
