We asked iZombie’s Robert Buckley to share his three desert island comics.
The first two were simple. The third, well…

On The CW’s iZombie, Robert Buckley plays Major Lilywhite, the ex-fiancé/current object of affection (it’s complicated, okay?) of main character Liv Moore. Buckley’s excellent in the role—he’s funny, charming, cute—and it’s easy to see why Liv would have a hard time letting go of him. However, great of an actor that he is, Buckley’s well suited for the world of iZombie for another reason as well. He’s a big comic book fan. Absolutely huge.

Considering this, we thought it would be fun to ask him for his three desert island comic books. Which three comics could he not stand to be without? The first two were pretty simple. The third, well…we got there eventually!

When iZombie comes to television in just a couple of days, the series will feature an opening titles sequence utilizing the art of Michael Allred, the Madman creator and Silver Surfer artist responsible for the art on Vertigo’s iZombie, the series on which the show is based.

The cast of “iZombie” explain the unique concept of the latest series from “Veronica Mars” creator Rob Thomas, which one star aptly describes as a “zom-com-rom-dram.”

We’re less than a week away from the debut of The CW’s “iZombie,” and a brand new pun-filled promo for the series has debuted online.

iZombie premieres Tuesday, March 17 at 9/8c.

Clearly we’re not the only ones thinking that Robert Buckley would be the perfect Green Lantern.

Rob Thomas and Diane Ruggiero, the brains behind #iZombie, talk about what to expect when it premieres next Tuesday at 9/8c.

The CW has released more promotional pictures and stills for the upcoming iZombie Pilot.
